The successful candidate will inspire and challenge students across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons in English Language and Literature that foster a love of reading, writing, and communication.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons to KS3 & KS4 students.
* Prepare students for GCSE examinations, ensuring high standards of attainment.
* Contribute to the development of an engaging and challenging English curriculum.
* Track and monitor student progress, providing support and interventions where necessary.
* Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes learning, creativity, and confidence.
* Engage with parents, carers, and colleagues to support student achievement and wellbeing.

Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature.
* Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Desirable:
* Experience delivering A-Level English.
* Evidence of improving student outcomes at KS4.
* A passion for extracurricular activities related to English (e.g., debating, creative writing, drama).
