Equans is looking for a Mobile Service BMS Engineer to join our Digital business, covering parts of York and the surrounding areas on a full‑time basis. At Equans Digital, we are collaborating with the UK’s commercial and public sectors to build a Smart Enabled future.
Key Activities
* Preventative Maintenance: Carrying out scheduled maintenance checks on BMS systems and components to ensure smooth operation across various sites.
* Reactive Calls: Responding to breakdowns and participating in a reactive call‑out rota, which includes additional financial benefits for on‑call availability and attendance.
* Continuous Improvement: Working with other engineer colleagues to recommend enhancements to clients to improve system performance and energy efficiency, completing thorough reports and building clear cost estimates and quotes for system upgrades.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
* City & Guild / BTEC / NVQ in Electrical or BEMS
* Knowledge and experience of at least one of the following (additional training may be provided):
o Trend
o Tridium
o Distech
o Siemens
o Niagara
* Knowledge and experience of HVAC and mechanical systems in a commercial environment
* Full UK driving licence
* BPSS vetting
