* Position: Paint Plant General Operator
* Shifts: 2-shift rotation (6.00am–2.30pm / 2.30pm–11.00pm)
* Type: Temp to Perm
* Pay Rate: £14.65per hour
Our client is expanding and we are looking for a reliable and proactive Plant Plant General Operator to join our growing team in Chilton.
About the Role:
* Select and prepare paint stock for each job
* Jig and mask components according to specifications or drawing details
* Work from job sheets or basic engineering drawings (desirable but not essential)
* Pack finished parts to the required standard
* Maintain cleanliness and general housekeeping within the work area
* Work independently while being part of a small team (approx. 5 people)
About you:
* Minimum of 1 year’s experience on a powder coat or wet paint plan
* Ability to work unsupervised and manage multiple tasks
* Understanding of engineering drawings – desirable
* A strong work ethic, good attention to detail, and a team-focused attitude
