Overview
We are seeking a qualified electrician to work within a small team of electricians at St Albans City Hospital. Must be able to work unsupervised and may also be required to work at Saint Albans City Hospital and Hemel Hempstead Hospital from time to time.
Responsibilities
* Carry out planned maintenance and fault find electrical circuits.
* Work on small power and lighting circuits.
* Partake in the on‑call emergency cover rota.
* Complete Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) as per HTM compliance.
Qualifications
* City & Guilds trained and completed an electrical apprenticeship.
* 21st edition (or 18th edition) regulations qualification (beneficial).
* Knowledge of fire alarm systems and nurse call systems.
* Understanding of generators, LV panels, boiler plant, and nurse call systems.
