About the Role

We are seeking a customer-focused and technically inclined Help Desk Support professional to join our IT team. This entry-level role is responsible for providing first-line technical assistance, resolving user issues, and ensuring a smooth and efficient IT support experience. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a strong foundation in IT support and service operations.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and basic network issues
* Respond to user queries via phone, email, or ticketing systems in a timely manner
* Log, track, and manage incidents and service requests in line with SLAs
* Troubleshoot common technical issues and escalate complex problems when necessary
* Assist with user account setup, password resets, and access management
* Support installation and configuration of desktops, laptops, and standard applications
* Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and processes
* Deliver a high level of customer service and user satisfaction

Required Qualifications

* Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent knowledge)
* 0–1 year of experience in IT support, help desk, or customer service (internships considered)
* Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows/macOS) and common applications
* Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT support processes
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

* Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
* Familiarity with tools such as Active Directory or Microsoft 365
* Relevant entry-level certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation)
* Prior experience in a customer-facing or support role
