RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Demonstrate values and behaviours consistent with Dyson’s culture
2. Utilize the Dyson-developed sales model to engage and excite shoppers while achieving key success factors
3. Provide the ultimate shopper experience in an engaging and well-informed professional fashion
4. Understand the shopper’s needs through discovery and consultation to identify the appropriate products to address their needs and desires
5. Demonstrate the appropriate Dyson tool in a clear and concise manner which permits the shopper to duplicate the actions successfully at home
6. Adhering to in-store demonstration and health & safety standards
7. Act as the in-store representative for all Dyson products while present in store
8. Educate Retail Sales Associate partners and shoppers on specific product features and benefits of various technologies
9. Perform operational duties such as visual merchandising, maintaining display cleanliness, replenishing stock, and other related activities
10. Successfully utilize CRM and HRIS systems to complete daily reporting in an accurate and timelymanner
11. Perform other duties, as assigned
ABOUT YOU
12. Minimum of 2 years of in-person retail selling experience
13. Experience working with technology and within the beauty industry, preferably prestige/luxury brands
14. Comfortable with leading events such as Masterclasses, and speaking to groups of people
15. Ability to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours
16. Ability to work retail hours (standard, peak, holiday) including a minimum of three (3) days/week including every Saturday/Sunday
17. Ability to transport demonstration equipment/supplies to and from assigned location(s) and the ability to travel within a defined territory
18. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
19. Ability to work well with others and establish strong relationships within Dyson Canada Ltd as well as with our third-party retail partners
20. Strong negotiation skills combined with adaptable approach to selling
21. Ambitious and self-motivated sales individual who exhibits confidence and professionalism
22. Proven track record of successful sales experience, achieving or exceeding quotas
23. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
24. Self-motivated, able to work independently and understands when to seek guidance
25. Comfortable with computer skills in Microsoft suite of products including Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook as well as the ability to use an iPad and corresponding applications
