We have vacancies nationwide for motivated individuals to lead and undertake projects within our renowned flood risk management team. We are looking for technical experts with a developing profile in flood risk management, capable of leading hydraulic and hydrological modelling projects, including 1D and 2D models for rivers, surface water, and coastal waters, with a focus on InfoWorks ICM software.

Requirements
You should have experience in delivering flood risk projects focused on integrated catchment modelling using ICM software, with the confidence to lead technical work and mentor junior team members. Building strong client relationships and collaborative working skills are essential.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in 1D-2D modelling using InfoWorks ICM.
* Relevant experience in flood risk analysis for strategy, planning, development, or design.
* GIS skills in ArcGIS, MapInfo, or QGIS.
* Experience in leading and supporting technical teams.
* Ability to make robust decisions using professional judgement, with a track record of project delivery, meeting client needs, and commercial awareness.
Desirable Skills
* Knowledge of other software like Flood Modeller, TUFLOW/ESTRY, or HEC-RAS.
* Experience in FEH hydrological assessment and UK hydrology.
Chartered status is valued but not mandatory; we support professional development. Civil engineering design experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
* Lead detailed technical work involving ICM hydraulic modelling, data analysis, GIS, and reporting, with quality assurance roles.
* Manage, supervise, and mentor junior staff.
* Support project management, including financial and change control.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated services.
* Assist in business development activities, including tendering and stakeholder engagement.
* Contribute to the development of the Flood Risk Team through active participation in technical networks.

Security Clearance
