About The Role Become part of the first new nuclear power station to be built in the UK in over 20 years! Join our Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick team as an Time and Attendance Administrator on the Hinkley Point Project and develop with this amazing project. About Hinkley Point C The first new nuclear power station to be built in the UK in over 20 years; Hinkley Point C in Somerset will provide low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes, create thousands of jobs and bring lasting benefits to the UK economy. Marking a significant milestone in the revitalisation of our nuclear power industry, Hinkley Point C will make a major contribution to the UKs move to reduce carbon emissions. The electricity generated by its two EPR reactors will offset 9 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions a year. Role Purpose To assist the payroll coordinators in the processing the various payroll forms and dealing with general queries to ensure that the coordinators have all the relevant information provided in a timely manner for processing the timecards and limiting any errors. What you'll be doing Responsible for maintaining/updating the Payroll Tracker. This includes inputting data for new starters, taking out leavers, change of grades, etc etc. This will be in liaison with the Workforce team to ensure correct information is utilised. Collection and subsequent maintaining of all submitted workforce operatives’ payroll forms (ie Holiday forms, Pay Query forms, Absence forms, Lodge forms, etc etc. All to be collected, logged and distributed to the relevant payroll coordinators. Support the payroll team with producing payroll related reports. Support the payroll team with producing Payroll metrics on late holiday bookings, lodge address changes, bus change requests, missed clocks, rate change requests, etc etc. Assist the payroll team with the new starters first day briefs from a payroll perspective. Assist the payroll team with relevant ad hoc support e.g. document scanning, reports, spreadsheets, minutes etc. Assist the payroll team with the dealing with general Payroll queries from the MEH Alliance team.
