We are supporting a major global rolling stock manufacturer in securing a Performance Engineer for their Eastleigh depot. This is a hands-on technical role, reporting directly to the Performance Manager, where you will be responsible for the management of all safety, reliability, and technical issues on the passenger fleet. Responsibilities: Daily monitoring and reporting of the fleet and materials performance, proactively suggesting methods to improve reliability. Conducting root cause analysis on defective material and in-service failures to establish core causes. Utilising specialist data systems to produce detailed trend analysis of vehicle system and component failures for inclusion in technical reports. Managing Safety Related Defects (SRDs), ensuring all tracking and documentation is maintained and updated regularly.
