The Role
The firm is seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor or Conveyancer with a minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) to join its busy residential conveyancing team. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload and play a key role in delivering a high standard of client service.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion
* Advising clients on a range of transactions, including:
* Sales of residential property
* Purchases of residential property
* Remortgages
* Shared ownership transactions
* New build properties
* Transfers of equity
* Leasehold transactions
* Buy-to-let purchases
* Property auctions
* Lease extensions and variations
* First registrations and title updates
* Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documentation
* Conducting title investigations, searches, and due diligence
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors
* Ensuring matters progress efficiently and are completed within required timescales
* Maintaining excellent standards of client care and communication
* Supporting colleagues within the team where appropriate
Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor or experienced Conveyancer with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE in residential property
* Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of residential conveyancing matters
* Proven ability to independently manage a busy and varied caseload
* Excellent communication and client care skills
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Commercial awareness and a proactive, problem-solving approach
