A client within the Public Sector based in North Yorkshire is currently recruiting for a Construction Supervisor to join their Property Services team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full-time, temporary position on an ongoing basis, with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority or public sector property maintenance environment. The Role Key purpose of the role: To support the delivery of planned maintenance and minor works projects across a diverse estate of public and commercial properties throughout North Yorkshire. The Construction Supervisor will oversee multi-trade teams on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: • Supervising day-to-day construction and highways maintenance activities. • Managing site documentation, materials, and resource allocation. • Liaising with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. • Leading Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) meetings to support project planning. • Ensuring compliance with all health and safety legislation and site protocols. • Line managing operatives, supporting their professional development. • Participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota when required.
