Your newpanyWe are working with one of our key clients to recruit a senior payroll coordinator. If you are looking to join a well-established organisation and assist their expert team with end-to-end payroll processing. This organisation is for you!Your new roleOur client is looking to recruit a Payroll Coordinator (Senior) to cover a period of maternity leave within our busy payroll team, the contract is expected to last 18 months, although it could possibly be permanent.
They currently have a small team processing a weekly and monthly payroll. The team are dedicated and focussed on ensuring all our people are paid accurately and on time.
Your main responsibilities will include:
1. Processing of all new starters and leavers, changes to terms and conditions and absence recording and reporting
2. Implementation of all variable pay into the HR & Payroll System
3. Production of weekly and monthly Bacs reports and posting costings
4. Pension Auto Enrolment processing and administration
5. Production of Real Time Information submissions to HMRC
6. Production of Reward Statements
7. Various general administration duties
8. Assisting ongoing projects within the team
9. Deputise for Payroll Manager (when required)
10. Support future module delivery within payroll system
The ideal candidate will have:
11. Previous experience of working within a busy Payroll Team
12. A full understanding of Payroll legislation/statutory payments
13. Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
14. Experience of using Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and Teams
15. The ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines and proactively manage workload
16. The ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times
