Foundation Degree approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Council in line with the requirements specified in the Nursing Associates Programme Standards (NMC 2018) which includes the mandatory protected learning time and a minimum 460 hours of external practice placements. What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship Upon successful completion of the Apprenticeship the apprentice will be guaranteed a position as a Nursing Associate within the trust. This however is not guaranteed to be within the same service you completed your apprenticeship on.
