The role involves the strategic and operational management of the H&F Mental Health Community Support Service, ensuring high-quality day-to-day delivery aligned with contract requirements and client needs. It includes oversight of service performance, KPIs, user outcomes, and report submissions, while maintaining strong partnerships with key stakeholders. The post-holder leads a frontline team, providing supervision, support, and performance management, and supports volunteer and student placements. The role also encompasses financial oversight, aligning service delivery with organisational policies, budgets, and business plans. A key focus is placed on co-production—actively involving service users in shaping and delivering services to enhance wellbeing, inclusion, and recovery outcomes.
Educated to degree level or with equivalent experience, including at least two years in mental health or working with vulnerable adults. Demonstrates strong understanding of safeguarding, equity, and diversity, with experience supporting vulnerable individuals. Proven ability in line management or supervision, performance monitoring, and using support plans to maintain high service standards. Proficient in computer systems, with the ability to guide staff in accurate and effective data recording.
