Overview
This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business. It is to assist the Inventory Manager in the effective and accurate maintenance of the Branch Inventory System and to assist in the audit of all Inventory related tasks/functions and ensure correct procedures are followed. All staff are expected to understand the principles of Good Distribution Practice of Medicinal Products for Human Use (2013/C 68/01) which is reflected in our SOP - REF Chapter 1 AHDL GDP 1.1. It will be a requirement for all staff to be trained in this SOP and have an annual refresher. All other GDP training will be job specific and as per your personal training matrix.
Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate slot data — dimensions, type.
* Ensure correct processing of new and discontinued lines.
* Process and audit all Adjustments, Stock Movements and Invoice amendments.
* Count stock accurately in accordance with schedule.
* Complete daily Inventory Control Sheets.
* Assist with the reconciliation of company stock takes as required.
* Carry out any reasonable request as determined by Branch Management.

Decision Making
Level of Decision Making: On occasion the Inventory Assistant will be required to work unsupervised.
Physical Requirements
MANUAL HANDLING: It should be noted that manual handling tasks such as lifting and bending are essential requirements of this role. * Previous warehouse experience
* High Visual Accuracy
* Willingness to learn how to operate VNA forklift
* Good verbal communication skills
* Intermediate written communication skills
* Intermediate numeracy and literacy

Desirable
Any previous experience of working in an inventory role would be highly desirable.
