Salary: GBP33,000 - GBP35,000
We re supporting a well-established manufacturing business in their search for a proactive HR Advisor to join their team. This is a great opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys a hands‑on, down‑to‑earth environment and wants to make a real impact in a people‑focused business.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide first‑line HR advice and guidance to managers and employees across the business
* Support the HR Manager with Employee Relations cases (absence, performance, disciplinary, grievance, etc.)
* Assist with recruitment and onboarding, ensuring a smooth candidate and new starter experience
* Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems
* Support the delivery of training, development, and wellbeing initiatives
* Assist in updating and implementing HR policies and procedures
* Prepare HR data and reports as needed
* Get involved in ad‑hoc HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
* CIPD Level 3 or 5 (or working towards) or equivalent experience
* Experience in a similar HR role
* Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
* Confident communicator with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels
* Hands‑on and adaptable, with a practical approach to problem‑solving
* Able to balance operational priorities with long‑term people initiatives
