We are seeking a motivated and well-organised Science Technician to join the Science Department of a successful and oversubscribed secondary school in London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for science and strong practical skills to support teaching and learning across Biology, Chemistry and Physics. The Role Working closely with teaching staff and the Senior Science Technician, you will be responsible for: Preparing equipment, materials and chemicals for practical science lessons Setting up and clearing away experiments in accordance with health and safety guidelines Maintaining, organising and ordering stock and equipment Supporting practical lessons where required Ensuring laboratories are safe, clean and compliant with current regulations Assisting with risk assessments and safe storage of chemicals The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: Has a background in science (academic or practical) Is organised, reliable and able to work independently Has good attention to detail and strong health & safety awareness Can work effectively as part of a team in a busy school environment Previous experience as a Science Technician is desirable, but not essential as training will be provided To be considered for this opportunity please forward an updated CV as soon as possible.
