Project Planner – High End Fit Out
London/Remote
A well established contractor specialising in high end fit out is looking to appoint a Project Planner to support the delivery of complex interior projects across London.
The business operates across prime residential, luxury retail and hotel sectors, delivering schemes typically ranging from £8m to £20m.
This role is key to ensuring projects are properly planned, coordinated and delivered on programme, working closely with design, commercial and site teams.
The Role
* Develop and manage detailed project programmes using Microsoft Project
* Build fully integrated programmes covering design, procurement, construction and handover
* Identify key milestones, critical path activities and dependencies
* Monitor live project progress and update programmes accordingly
* Identify risks, delays and programme constraints, implementing mitigation strategies
* Work closely with project teams to ensure alignment across all stages
* Provide clear programme reporting to internal stakeholders
* Support project teams with planning best practice and programme optimisation
* Assist in improving internal planning processes and standards
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Planner / Programmer within construction or fit out
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project (or similar planning software)
* Experience working on high end or complex projects
* Good understanding of the full project lifecycle from design through to delivery
* Ability to manage multiple programmes and workstreams simultaneously
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Confident communicator, able to work with both technical and site-based teams
Desirable
* Experience within high end fit out, interiors or joinery-led projects
* Exposure to projects in the £8m–£20m range
* Understanding of resource planning and cost tracking
