The Marketing team is looking for a highly motivated, experienced Principal Product Marketing to join the team. This role requires creating and managing the holistic go-to-market activities and collaborating with a diverse set of global stakeholders within and outside of the Marketing organization.
Role and Responsibilities:
1. Support the entire go-to-market lifecycle through the planning of net-new product launches, differentiated releases, in market maintenance and sunset activities
2. Collaborate across functions and teams to deliver an effective product marketing strategy and plan to meet the business objectives, including the acquisition of new customers and retention of existing customers
3. Have strong cross-team constituent collaboration skills working with sales and product teams
4. Understand the market and competitive landscape to competitively position assigned products and services across all content and digital channels, as well as hosted community events
5. Become an expert on our target customers and their buying criteria to author effective content for sales enablement, including collateral, presentations, and integrated product videos
6. Collect testimonials and/or case studies and identify key customer references to leverage in voice of the customer content
7. Position Travel Solutions as a thought leader in the market with customer-centric positioning and messaging targeted to segment and buying roles
8. Assess the effectiveness of the marketing programs that support your products on an ongoing basis, and report back to the business on recommended changes
9. Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment to deliver results
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
10. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or equivalent
11. +8 years of business-to-business product marketing experience
12. Editorial mindset with attention to detail and quality that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
13. Experience with marketing a product (s) through unique positioning and value-based messaging and effective sales enablement tactics
14. Team mentality within a global matrixed team environment
15. Self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and has a proven ability to operate well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
16. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
17. Collaborative mindset is a must
18. Domain expertise in the travel industry or with airline and/or travel agency products a plus
