Duties include -
Case picking.
Check the condition of the pallet and wrapping of the pallet before loading or unloading.
Check the height of the pallet. Will it fit in sites?
Help to load/ unload trailers.
On goods in check best before dates, remember our broad customer base means we have different requirements for each of them so ask your team leader if you are not sure. Check the quality of packaging and quantity on the pallet against that stated on the computer.
Check the product description and pack size is clear and that it is correct as stated on the computer.
Check and record batch number on customer stock (if applicable) and enter onto the computer.
Check that all charges are applied to customers' accounts for all extra work involved in unloading such as inverting, wrapping, pallets used etc...
Use warehouse management systems to input/amend data
Advise the stock office of all discrepancies as they arise.
*Stock checking/ controlling experience is essential
*You will work in Freezer - 17 degrees ( PPE to keep you warm will be provided)
