Summary:
This role involves working with Walsall Council to enforce regulations related to antisocial behaviour, environmental crime, statutory nuisances, and licensing. The position requires a blend of patrolling and administrative duties, with a focus on conflict resolution and effective communication. The role is essential in maintaining community standards and ensuring compliance with local laws.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct patrols three days a week to monitor and enforce regulations.
* Complete caseload tasks both onsite and from home when not patrolling.
* Engage in face-to-face interactions to resolve conflicts and enforce compliance.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation of enforcement activities.
* Collaborate with team members and other departments as necessary.
* Adhere to a shift schedule that includes potential late shifts and Saturdays.
Requirements
* Valid driving license and access to a personal vehicle.
* Basic DBS and BPSS checks.
* Background in enforcement related to antisocial behaviour, environmental crime, statutory nuisances, or licensing.
* GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.
* Experience in conflict resolution and face-to-face communication.
* Proficiency in written communication and IT skills.
* Ability to walk and patrol for up to 7 hours a day.
* Flexibility to work hybrid shifts, including weekends, with rest days after six consecutive working days.
