Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fabrication and welding, particularly with TIG welding techniques. This role involves working with various materials, including sheet metal, and requires proficiency in using hand and power tools. The Fabricator will play a crucial role in producing high-quality components that meet our stringent specifications.
Responsibilities
* Perform mig welding and other welding techniques to fabricate components according to design specifications.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
* Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication of parts.
* Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.
* Assist in the assembly of fabricated components as required.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in fabrication, with a strong emphasis on welding and struc work.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery.
* Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
* Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
