Our Client
Our client is a Chartered Accountancy practice with 34 years of experience, helping businesses with every aspect of their financial well-being. They combine their expertise as Chartered Accountants with a deep understanding of running owner-managed companies. The Role
As a key member of the friendly accountancy team, youll manage a portfolio of clients and deliver a wide range of services:
Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Producing personal tax returns and VAT returns
Liaising with clients to provide advice and support
Using accounting software such as Engager, Xero, and TaxCalc
The client has a separate payroll department and do not carry out audits, so you will be free to focus on client accounts and tax work.
The Candidate
Qualified by experience, or qualified accepted
Confident in managing your own portfolio of clients
Strong technical skills in accounts and tax preparation
Proactive, organised, and able to build positive client relationships
(Optional but useful) Experience in CIS returns, P11Ds and bookkeeping
Salary & Benefits
Salary of up to £38,500 depending on qualifications and experience
Working hours 8.30am-4.30pm
