Video Editor - National VIPER Bureau
West Yorkshire Police is seeking a talented Video Editor to join the National VIPER Bureau, part of Yorkshire and the Humber Scientific Support Services. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a unique service that supports police forces across the UK in the effective investigation of crime and the protection of victims.
What You’ll Do
•Review and grade suspect images submitted by forces nationwide
•Edit video parades within strict timescales
•Apply masking treatments in line with VIPER standards
•Add photorealistic features to volunteer images where required
•Maintain accurate project and file organisation
•Record observations to ensure effective collaboration
•Provide technical support to service users via telephone
What We’re Looking For
•Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Photoshop
•Ability to deliver edits to set deadlines
•Strong computer skills and accurate keyboard proficiency
•Critical eye for reviewing and assessing images
•Physically capable of lifting and completing manual handling training
•Willingness to travel occasionally for business purposes
