Medical Records/ Scanning Administrative Assistant
Location: Fulwood Hall Hospital, Preston
Hours: hours per week, Full-time, working hours will primarily be 9am-5pm Monday-Friday, occasionally weekend and bank holiday cover will be required.
Salary: Depending on experience + Benefits
Summary:
Fulwood Hall Hospital was opened as a purpose built facility in 1986. In 2009 the hospital completed a £9m pound investment to refurbish and expand the site, making it the largest independent hospital in Lancashire and one of the largest in the north of England.
The hospital has six consulting rooms supported by a fully equipped outpatient treatment room, a pre-assessment unit for screening and assessing patients prior to surgery as well as modern imaging facilities and a brand new physio and sports therapy department including gymnasium.
The role:
Our medical records and scanning department at Fulwood Hall Hospital are looking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join their busy team in providing a professional and effective medical records service.
The day to day activities will include, preparing medical records for outpatients and theatre sessions, scanning and importing documents to Maxims EPR, auditing productivity and effectiveness and dealing with subject access request, including third party organisations, list is not exhaustive.
The medical records team are responsible for the efficient storage, use and provision of medical records to support the hospital in providing safe and effective patient care.
Working hours will primarily be 9am-5pm Monday-Friday, occasionally weekend and bank holiday cover will be required.
Computer literacy is essential as you will be required to input and extract information from a number of patient administration systems, and the successful candidate will have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
