Job Title: Obstetrics Sonographer
Location: Derbyshire
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday (hours dependent on service needs)
Role Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Obstetrics Sonographer to join a well-regarded NHS service in Derbyshire. This role is exclusively obstetric scanning and requires candidates to have an up-to-date DQASS plot. You will work within a supportive team, delivering high-quality imaging and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform a wide range of obstetric ultrasound examinations to a high standard.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date reporting, ensuring compliance with DQASS requirements.
* Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and safety during all examinations.
* Contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the ultrasound service.
Requirements:
* HCPC registration.
* Minimum of 6 months' NHS experience (applications without this will be automatically rejected).
* Up-to-date DQASS plot.
* Proven experience in obstetric ultrasound scanning.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Strong communication and patient-care skills.
