Health Care Support Worker - Radiology

We are looking for individual with passion for expanding their knowledge and experience in Interventional Radiology.
Salford Radiology Day Case unit is providing care for patients admitted for interventional radiology procedures mainly Lung Biopsies.
We provide training and support for the staff for their personal and professional Development.
Main duties of the job
* Establish and maintain communication with people on routine and operational matters.
* Contribute to own personal development.
* Assist in maintaining own and others' health, safety, and security.
* Assist in maintaining and developing services.
* Ensure own actions help to maintain quality.
* Ensure own actions support equality, diversity, and rights.
* Undertake routine assessment tasks related to individuals' health and well-being.
* Assist in delivering programmes of care to meet individuals' health and well-being.
* Ability to work flexibly to meet the demands of the service.
* Facilitate Patient Transport to and from the department as required.

Qualifications
* Care Certificate either upon appointment or within 12 weeks of commencement
* Level 1 Literacy and Numeracy (equivalent to GCSE English and Maths Grade D-G)
* NVQ Level 2 in Healthcare or a Level 2 Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeship already achieved
Knowledge Training and Experience
* Experience of working within a team
* Experience of working with members of the public
* Experience of working within a health or social care environment
Skills & Abilities
* Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
* Excellent organisational skills
* Basic IT skills
* Commitment to undertaking continuous professional development (CPD)
