We’re looking for a Design Engineer – Aerodynamics Surfacing to join our team and play a key role in developing high‑performance aerodynamic geometry for wind tunnel testing, CFD and race car application.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead aerodynamic design projects from concept through to release, including modelling, validation and documentation.
* Develop high‑quality surface models for CFD and wind tunnel testing.
* Ensure timely delivery of components for wind tunnel testing, collaborating with model shop and production teams.
* Support and participate in wind tunnel testing activities and development programmes.
* Continuously improve wind tunnel model quality, performance and testing efficiency.
* Contribute to parametric modelling strategies and design methodologies.
* Identify risks, opportunities and improvements, communicating progress to senior designers.
* Collaborate closely with aerodynamicists and cross‑functional teams to enhance development strategies.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
* Strong CAD skills (preferably CATIA) and experience in surface modelling.
* A solid understanding of composite design, materials and manufacturing processes.
* Knowledge of FEA, GD&T and engineering validation techniques.
* Understanding of aerodynamic development, wind tunnel testing and CFD processes.
* Familiarity with FIA technical regulations (desirable).
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver high‑quality work under pressure.
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
* A proactive, adaptable mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
