We are looking for a proactive Maintenance Engineering Team Leader to join our growing team at our state-of-the-art food production site in Wrexham. The Role As the Maintenance Engineering Team Leader, you will: Lead and support a multi-skilled engineering team across days and nights. Drive high levels of equipment reliability, performance, and safety. Coordinate and prioritise planned and reactive maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and site standards. Support continuous improvement projects to reduce downtime and boost efficiency. Develop team members through coaching, training, and performance management. Work closely with Production, Quality, and H&S teams to ensure seamless operations. About You We're looking for someone who has: A time-served engineering background (electrical, mechanical, or multi-skilled). Proven experience in a leadership or senior engineer role within FMCG, ideally food manufacturing. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure. A solid understanding of CMMS, planned maintenance, and continuous improvement tools. Excellent communication, organisation, and team-leading ability.
