Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated nursing professionals passionate about sharing their background and experience with the next generation of nursing students. The role involves engaging in both classroom and clinical teaching experiences.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's of Science in Nursing; Master's degree preferred
* Active and unrestricted Alabama RN license or compact license
* At least three years of practical nursing experience
Physical Requirements
In addition to classroom teaching, developing relationships with clinical partner sites, and student meetings, the role includes a clinical component. Applicants must be able to:
* Consistently communicate verbally with students, staff, and colleagues
* Observe and assess visually or through other means
* Operate program-specific equipment, personal computers, audio-visual, and clinical equipment
* Stand and/or walk for extended periods
* Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction
* Manipulate objects with finger dexterity
* See and hear within normal parameters
* Lift up to 25 pounds
