We are currently looking for enthusiastic, pro-active and motivated Pharmacy Assistants to join our team in supporting the Pharmacy Technicians in our friendly Technical Services Units. The Trust comprises of 3 Aseptic units across the 3 hospital sites; these posts are based at Basildon / Orsett but with the requirement to work at any of the 3 hospital sites when required.

Responsibilities
* Manufacture of aseptically prepared medicines in a Section 10 / Licensed Aseptic Unit.
* Undertaking packing / labeling of medicines in the Pre-Pack unit supplying to all Trust sites.
* Cleaning of department following strict cleaning regimes.
* Responsible for following Standard Operating Procedures at all times.
Qualifications
* Minimum of GCSE English Language and Mathematics to Grade C / 4 (or equivalent).
* Previous experience within a Pharmacy environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
In addition to the role responsibilities, the posts involve working in an aseptic manufacturing environment and the pre-packing unit. You will need to be able to work accurately, efficiently and follow procedures at all times. Cleaning of the area is an essential part of the role and you will be expected to meet high standards of discipline, personal hygiene and attention to detail due to the critical nature of the work.
