The Role – Health & Safety Advisor As Health & Safety Advisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting project delivery across Ireland, ensuring that safety remains at the core of all operations. Working within a dedicated HSEQ team, you’ll promote a proactive safety culture, provide guidance to site teams, and drive continual improvement in compliance, reporting, and awareness. Key Responsibilities: Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and training to site personnel. Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments. Support the implementation of safety management systems across multiple projects. Monitor site safety performance and maintain accurate H&S documentation. Assist in developing and reviewing risk assessments and safe systems of work. Investigate incidents and near misses, reporting findings to management. Support environmental and sustainability initiatives in line with company goals. Liaise with site teams, management, and clients to promote best practices. About You Degree or diploma in Health & Safety, or equivalent qualification. Minimum 3 years’ experience in construction, civils, or utilities environments. Strong knowledge of HSEQ legislation, risk management, and auditing. Full, clean driving licence essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and lead. Proactive, organised, and confident working across multiple sites. Experience in utilities, drainage, or civils projects preferred. IT proficient with good reporting and documentation skills.
