We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality, service, and operational excellence, and are now looking for a skilled and motivated Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team.

Role Overview

The Part-Time Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing the full end-to-end finance function of the business, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with relevant legislation. The role requires strong Sage 50 experience and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, growing business.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare
monthly management accounts
* Produce and issue
weekly sales invoices
via Sage 50
* Manage
purchase and sales ledgers
including credit control
* Process and reconcile
accounts payable and receivable
* Prepare and submit
VAT returns
in line with HMRC requirements
* Run
payroll and pension
submissions
* Chase overdue invoices and manage debtor ledger
* Reconcile
monthly bank statements
* Prepare and present
monthly cash flow statements
* Support the preparation of
year-end accounts
for external accountants

Skills & Experience Required

* Relevant Qualifications
* Proven experience in a
finance role
* Strong working knowledge of
Sage 50 Accounts
* Experience with
payroll and VAT returns
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
* Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers, customers, and internal teams
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Flexible and willing to help out in other departments as and when required.

Desirable Attributes

* Experience in a small - medium sales environment
* Knowledge of the manufacturing or industrial supply sector**
