Salary: £39,000 - £46,000 Per Annum, Dependent Upon Experience

What We’re Looking For
We are on the hunt for a qualified and experienced social worker with a passion for working with Children Looked After and foster parents. If you have:
* A Social Care England recognised qualification in Social Work or equivalent
* Experience working with children and young people, particularly those in care
* A solid understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and fostering standards
* A full driving licence with unrestricted access to your own car
Then you might be the perfect fit! We value strong leadership skills, a desire to make a difference, and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team. Your safeguarding knowledge will be crucial in this role, as will your excellent communication skills to build and maintain positive relationships with children, foster parents, and professionals.
Your Responsibilities
As a Principal Social Worker, you will:
* Support and deputise for the Registered Manager as needed
* Supervise team members to ensure effective functioning
* Empower foster parents to reach their full potential
* Monitor compliance and promote best practices among staff and foster parents
* Collaborate with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to prioritize safeguarding and positive outcomes
