Account Director – PR & Communications
Location: Reading, Hybrid Working (3 days in office / 2 from home)
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000
An exciting opportunity has opened up at a fast-growing PR and communications agency based in Reading. They’re on the lookout for an experienced Account Director to join their dynamic client services team and play a key role in leading high-impact campaigns across both B2B and B2C sectors.

About the Role:
As an Account Director, you’ll take the lead on 6–7 client accounts, helping to shape and deliver strategic PR and communications campaigns. Your role will span digital PR, media relations, content creation, and social media — all aligned with clients’ business objectives. You’ll also play an integral role in new business pitches and be a key driver in client growth.
You’ll be supported by a collaborative team and will have direct line management responsibilities — so leadership skills and a desire to nurture junior talent are essential.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience in a PR/communications agency environment
* Strong track record managing both B2B and B2C campaigns
* Confident working with clients at a senior level, providing strategic counsel
* Skilled writer with excellent attention to detail and research capabilities
* Experience in pitching and presenting new ideas to clients and stakeholders
* Passionate about developing team members and fostering a positive team culture
