Associate—Professional Negligence Insurance (Construction) | 2+ PQE
A highly regarded international firm is looking to grow its top-tier construction insurance disputes practice in London. The team sits at the forefront of construction professional negligence work, acting on complex, high-value disputes for a broad client base across the sector.
This is not a narrow, single-client environment. You will be advising a mix of leading contractors, construction professionals, insurers and brokers, which brings a wider lens to the work and a more varied, commercially nuanced practice.
The focus is on contentious construction matters, particularly professional negligence claims arising out of major projects. You will be working closely with recognised partners on sophisticated disputes, with the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility and build direct relationships with clients early on.
The team combines technical strength with a genuinely supportive and collegiate culture. Associates are encouraged to develop their own profile in the market, supported by strong client exposure and a steady flow of high-quality work.
Candidates should have:
* At least 2 years’ PQE with solid experience in construction and engineering disputes;
* Proven exposure to professional negligence matters within the construction sector;
* Experience acting for contractors, consultants or insurers in complex disputes;
* Strong analytical and drafting skills, with a practical and commercial approach; and
* The confidence to manage client relationships and contribute to wider team initiatives.
