At Lancashire County Council, we’re modernising how data flows across the organisation and beyond — and we’re looking for an Azure Integration Engineer to help make it happen.
This is a great opportunity to work on large-scale, meaningful integrations that support frontline services, improve decision-making, and enable modern digital and data-driven solutions across the county.
What you’ll be doing
1. Design and develop secure, scalable integration solutions using modern cloud technologies
2. Build and manage APIs using tools such as Azure API Management and Logic Apps
3. Develop and optimise SQL queries, views and stored procedures
4. Work closely with data architects, business analysts and application teams
5. Troubleshoot, test and support integrations to ensure reliability
6. Implement aspects of the data strategy by aligning integration practices with LCC enterprise architecture and data strategy objectives
7. Maintain technical documentation and standards
What we’re looking for
8. Experience with integration technologies such as REST, APIs, JSON and XML
9. Experience creating Integrations using Azure or other cloud platforms (. AWS)
10. Strong SQL / T-SQL skills
11. Experience with data integration and ETL processes
12. Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments including CI/CD and automation.
13. Good problem-solving and communication skills
