Claire at Amber Mace is recruiting on behalf of a well-respected provider for a Dual Registered Children’s Home Manager to oversee two small, high-quality homes in the Telford area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and experienced leader to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.
The Role:
Responsible for the day-to-day management of two small children’s residential homes.
Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, consistently aiming for ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ ratings.
Lead and support staff teams to provide safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environments.
Maintain high standards of care, safeguarding, and outcomes for young people.
Report directly to senior leadership and contribute to service development and improvement.
Requirements:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Children and Young People’s Services).
Must have held previous Ofsted registration as a Registered Manager.
Strong understanding of children’s residential care legislation, safeguarding, and regulatory frameworks.
Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage, develop, and inspire teams.
