Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Development: Lead the strategic development of SEN policy and provision, ensuring it aligns with the school improvement plan.
* Quality Monitoring: Maintain a strategic overview of SEN provision, monitoring and reviewing its quality.
* Guidance and Support: Provide expert guidance to colleagues on teaching pupils with SEN, and advise on SEN support approaches.
* Collaboration: Work with early years providers, other schools, educational psychologists, health and social care professionals, and external agencies.
* Data Analysis: Analyse assessment data for pupils with SEN to inform effective interventions.
* Intervention Leadership: Implement and lead intervention groups, evaluating their effectiveness.
* Parental Engagement: Communicate regularly with parents or carers, ensuring their involvement in their child's education.
