Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil within Key Stage 2 (KS2) at a welcoming primary school in Sefton. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEND TA / Learning Support Assistant (LSA) who is passionate about making a positive difference to children with additional needs.
Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 support for a KS2 pupil with Special Educational Needs.
* Assist with learning, behaviour, and social development.
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support strategies.
* Encourage independence and help the pupil engage fully in classroom activities.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
Requirements
* Previous experience supporting children with SEND in a KS2 or primary setting.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Two professional references covering the last 2 years.
