Our Client is a successfull Civil Engineering contractor with a long history of delivering complex projects including Marine, Renewables, Power & Transmission. As the Environmental Clerk of Works, you’ll be the on-the-ground guardian of biodiversity, habitats, and compliance. What You’ll Be Doing This is a field-based role supporting a range of infrastructure and construction projects (Power & Transmission, Renewables, Cabling). Your day-to-day work will include: Monitoring and ensuring compliance with environmental commitments and legal requirements on construction sites Advising site teams on best practices to protect habitats, species, and natural features Undertaking ecological surveys (e.g. protected species, nesting birds) and reporting findings Liaising with contractors, designers, and clients to deliver practical environmental solutions Producing site reports and communicating risks or incidents promptly Identifying opportunities to enhance biodiversity through proactive site managementWhat You’ll Need We're looking for someone who: Holds a degree (or equivalent experience) in Environmental Science, Ecology, or a related field Has at least 1 year of site-based experience (e.g. construction, ecology, consultancy, enf...
