The Family Help Social Worker role in Hillingdon involves building relationships with children and families, managing complex cases, and working within a supportive locality team to deliver outstanding outcomes for children. Key Responsibilities Relationship Building: Develop meaningful, relationship-based practices with children and families to drive positive change. Case Management: Manage a complex caseload with high levels of professional autonomy, coordinating multi-agency plans to safeguard children and support families Assessment and Intervention: Use a range of assessment and intervention frameworks, providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues and partners Team Collaboration: Work within a locality team embedded in a defined geographical area, ensuring services are child-centred and responsive to local needs Professional Development: Participate in regular supervision, reflective practice, and extensive professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge. Qualifying candidates require at least three years’ post-qualifying experience in direct / permanent employment of an English local authority in children’s services.
