Job Title: Headteacher

Location: Napier School, Farnborough, Hampshire, GU14 6EF

Salary: Up to £80,000.00 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

We now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Headteacher to join our close-knit team at Napier School, part of Options Autism.

About The Role

Are you an innovative Headteacher/Senior Leader committed to improving the lives of pupils and young people with a primary diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder and additional complex needs? This is an excellent opportunity for an inspiring Headteacher to join our team.

As Headteacher, you will uphold our vision of ‘Thinking and Learning Differently’ and focus on delivering high-quality, creative learning tailored to our pupils’ needs, maximising achievement and development.

Who We Are Looking For

The successful candidate will exercise dynamic leadership, ensuring the development and promotion of the school's vision and continuous improvement. You will drive outstanding educational outcomes and inspire pupils, staff, and the community.

You will collaborate with the senior leadership team and the Regional Director to provide inclusive and outstanding educational and therapeutic services. You will have overall strategic leadership responsibility, maintaining high standards across the schools.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

* NPQH (National Professional Qualification for Headship)
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
* Relevant Teaching Qualification
* Significant experience working with children or young adults with autism and/or challenging behaviour
* Proven leadership as a Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher in a complex special needs school
* Strong understanding of Ofsted procedures and experience with School Improvement Partners
* Ability to manage budgets effectively and ensure financial compliance

Napier School, part of Options Autism, is a new primary school for pupils with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs in Farnborough, Hampshire. Our aim is to help pupils excel through a structured, nurturing approach and a broad, engaging curriculum.
