Join our dynamic Marine team at Marsh as a Client Executive where you will play a key role in managing an allocated client account portfolio while supporting the Account Executive/Broker. You will handle your own portfolio of small to medium‑sized clients and contribute to the team's overall client growth. This role offers the opportunity to build strong relationships with clients, underwriters and internal stakeholders, delivering exceptional service in a collaborative and fast‑paced environment.
This role will be based in Norwich and is a hybrid position with a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We will count on you to:
* Manage relationships with clients prospects and producers to deliver exceptional service and drive growth.
* Handle day‑to‑day queries renewals amendments and mid‑term adjustments for your allocated client portfolio.
* Coordinate the production and quality assurance of client deliverables.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with underwriters (P&I clubs) and liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure excellent client service.
* Supervise and support client managers in their daily activities and collaborate across the marine department and wider company.
What you need to have:
* Experience in the insurance industry preferably in a Client Executive or similar client‑facing role.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence to advise and negotiate.
* Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
* Proven ability to build, manage and develop relationships.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

* Background in P&I insurance or other marine insurance lines.
* Experience in training or mentoring junior team members.
* Knowledge of marine market conditions and regulatory requirements.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and work flexibly when needed.
* A collaborative mindset with a strong desire to develop your skill set and understand client risks and exposures.
* ACII part or fully qualified or working towards it (or equivalent).
