GAC UK is looking for candidates for the role of Warehouse Operator to be based in Aberdeen. Could it be you?

Responsibilities
* Ensuring all activity is carried out to the highest standards and with a proactive QHSSE approach
* Liaising with logistics colleagues, warehouse and clients to ensure requirements are met both verbally and via e-mail.
* Ensuring all cargo is safely handled and stored
* Maintaining excellent working relationships with clients and stakeholders
* Goods in, line checking and put away – both physically and using our in-house stock management system.
* Completing pick and packs for North Sea and international freight and processing through systems.
* Packing and securing of containers for shipping.
* Forklift duties – loading/unloading transport, put away in warehouse/yard.
* Management of communication media (e-mails and Teams messages) and efficient monitoring and processing of e-mail requests and queries.
Job requirements
* The ideal candidate will have:
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to multitask and prioritise
* Have a good understanding and appreciation of a proactive safety culture
* Experience using Microsoft office products
* Attention to detail
* A desire to continually improve
* Counterbalance forklift licence (not essential as training can be arranged)
Upon completion of training, the successful candidate will join the duty rota which consists of evening and weekend work as we are available 24/7 for our customers.
