UK Technical Sales Manager
Up to £70,000 per annum DOE + Commission + Company Benefits
Location: Commutable from Birmingham, Dudley, Stourbridge, West Bromwich, Wolverhampton, Walsall
An excellent opportunity for a commercially driven professional with strong technical knowledge of low voltage panel design and experience in sales management. The company are industry leaders in their field, working with a wide range of reputable clients across the UK. They are looking for a Technical Sales Manager to join their team and play a key role in achieving ambitious growth targets within the UK.
This role would suit an individual with proven sales success in the engineering/manufacturing sector, looking to take on a strategic role within a growing and respected organisation.
The Role:
1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies, analyse market trends, customer behaviour and sales data to forecast sales and adjust strategies accordingly.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, whilst identifying and securing new business opportunities.
3. Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes, tools and procedures.
4. Work with customers on pre-engineering design solutions and standardisation.
The Person:
5. Experienced Sales Manager with a strong technical background.
6. Knowledge of low voltage panel design and the switchgear market, including IEC 61439-2 standards.
7. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
8. Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
9. Flexible to travel across the UK as required.
