Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Transport Contracts Administrator to join Stoke on Trent Council's Specialised Transport Team on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The Role: You will work closely with service users, families, providers, and professionals to ensure safe, effective, and value-for-money transport solutions are delivered across both education and social care settings. Key Duties Include: Managing and monitoring transport contracts and provider performance Supporting panel processes for SEND and social care transport eligibility Liaising with families, social care teams, SEN professionals, and transport operators Gathering and analysing data to support procurement, quality assurance, and service improvement Coordinating the mobilisation of new contracts and facilitating variations where needed Handling FOI requests, complaints, and appeals in line with regulations Supporting tendering, compliance, and financial monitoring activities Using performance systems and tools to inform decision-making and strategy Requirements: Experience in commissioning, brokerage, or contract management Strong communication skills Ability to work flexibly across cohorts Confidence in using IT systems and producing reports If this role would be of interest to you, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible
