Job Summary
The Beading Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining beading machines used to form beads on metal components. This role ensures products meet quality standards, production schedules, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate beading machines according to work orders, blueprints, or specifications
Adjust machine settings (speed, pressure, tooling) to produce accurate bead profiles
Load raw materials and unload finished components
Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy, defects, and surface quality
Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
Monitor machine performance and report malfunctions or quality issues
Maintain accurate production and quality records
Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times
Keep the work area clean and organized
Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience operating industrial or metal-forming machinery is an advantage
Ability to read blueprints, drawings, or work instructions
Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift materials or components as required by the job
Manual dexterity for handling tools and machine controls
Work Environment
Manufacturing or production facility
Exposure to noise, moving machinery, and industrial materials
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

Maintain low scrap and rework rates
Adhere to safety and quality standards
Working Hours
Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm
Friday 8am – 3.30pm
Benefits
28 days holiday however after 3 year's service, extra day accrued each year up to maximum of 5 extra days, pension, & overtime.
