Our innovative products include customized fluid-film bearings, seals, and isolators, used in various industries such as industrial rotating machinery, marine vessels, oil & gas, and petrochemical processing.
Your Role: Materials & Logistics Team Leader
What You Will Bring:
* Expertise in International Shipping: Knowledge of shipping protocols, Incoterms, commodity codes, and tariff classifications.
* Documentation Management: Proven ability to handle complex import/export documentation and customs entries, with experience in logistics software like Pacejet.
* Supervisory Experience: Skilled in managing the end-to-end "Goods In" process, ensuring accuracy in ERP/MRP transactions.
* Team Leadership: Ability to prioritize workloads, manage team performance, and foster a positive, high-performance culture.
* Safety Commitment: Dedication to maintaining a safe working environment through adherence to HSE policies and standards.
* KPI Monitoring: Experience in developing and analyzing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and participating in audits for process compliance.
Your Responsibilities:
Goods In
* Oversee the receipt, inspection, and booking-in of all incoming materials and components.
* Ensure deliveries match purchase orders and delivery notes.
* Manage discrepancies and quality issues in collaboration with Purchasing and Quality teams.
* Ensure accurate and timely ERP/MRP transactions.
* Control storage, labeling, and material flow within the stores area.
Shipping
* Manage transport logistics for customers using air, road, or sea freight.
* Process all import/export documents and customs entries via the Pacejet system.
* Ensure compliance throughout the logistics timeline.
* Communicate effectively with customers and third parties to meet targets.
* Ensure accurate usage of Incoterms, commodity codes, and tariff codes.
* Oversee packaging and labeling of all outward shipments in line with HSE standards.
Stock Control & Inventory Accuracy
* Maintain accurate stock records and location control.
* Lead cycle counts and support stock audits.
* Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
* Ensure FIFO and material traceability standards are upheld.
General Leadership
* Participate in audits to ensure compliance with purchasing policies.
* Prioritize and allocate daily workloads across the team.
* Create a motivating team environment.
* Ensure adherence to HSE policies and procedures.
* Monitor KPIs and set goals for team members.
