About The Role
We are looking for a Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team at the stunning attraction site Burghley House in Stamford.
The role offers the opportunity to work across multiple areas of the estate, including The Orangery Restaurant, Garden Café, and The Potting Shed, each offering varied menus, service styles, and drinks selections.
Daily responsibilities may range from preparing coffees and maintaining café service areas to delivering food and wine service in the Great Hall. Experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment is beneficial; however, full training will be provided by Absolute Taste for candidates who demonstrate a positive, proactive attitude. Working hours are varied, with opportunities to support evening events across the estate.
Your Key Responsibilities as a Food & Beverage Assistant will be:
· Preparation for service, restocking and cleaning including washing up.
· Take and prepare customer’s orders quickly and accurately.
· Provide polite and confident customer service, you will need to be customer focused at all times and quick to exceed expectations fulfilling customer needs.
· Competently use tills and credit card payments systems.
· Ensure all equipment is used and cleaned safely.
· Always maintain a high level of food safety with great allergen controls.
· To project a willing and helpful attitude to customers and give the appropriate knowledge of food items sold throughout restaurants and cafes.

Previous hospitality experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. What matters most is your work ethic, adaptability, and commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
